Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Fourth! Apologies to our British Friends, no offense intended. Why just last week, the third in line to the British Throne, Prince William, said he loved America and would love to live there!
We Americans are very independent, love our Freedom and "Pursuit of Happiness" and maybe we will get these rights back in 2009!

Happy 4th to you too! This reminds me of Jay Leno going around the streets in LA asking people whom did we get our independence from!
Most of the answers were: Mexico, Canada and... the Europeans! Only one person answered Great Britain.
The guy was, of course, a Canadian tourist!
While on the subject, Barbara and I were in Puerto Rico last summer, when I run across a hilarious cartoon of Puerto Rico celebrating the 4th of July, aka "Dependence day".
May the spirit of independence and mutual understanding prevail, worldwide!

At least, we still have a lst Amendment is this Country - hasnt been taken away yet - so we can write what we want!

Never been to Puerto Rico, no Hemes store there, but I do know that the citziens of Puerto Rico dont pay US Federal Income tax, which is not too bad plus they van vote in US President elections and the have a Delegate in the US House of Representatives, with a vote also. Why would they trade that for independence??
In any case, I am sure it was a funny sign.
