From eveyone that I have polled so far, the best day seems to be a Thursday, and the best week for everyone seems to be the week of September 17fh.

I need your feebdback ASAP and I will be sending our separate emails as well.

Hello Duncan,

thank you for responding. I heard from our blog master, Richard, that he cant make it in September, he will be in CR and Mexico, so we will one in September and one in late November (when I will come back again) for him.
What do you think of that>
In any casae, I will still send out the reminder email to everyone.
Hope your MOther and Father are doing well; my best regards to them.
Cheers,
susan von

Dear Susan - Yes, the city went Bollywood-mad over the weekend and there are even plans to produce Bollywood films here in the future! No sign of Patsy and her bottle of bubbly I'm afraid, but I'll keep my eyes open. Thank you for your best wishes - my mother is out swimming today (she is 76!), whilst dad has his head in a good book! Some things never change!
Best wishes - Duncan
P.S. Will people still be able to visit the Klimt Villa do you know?

Hi Susan,

Thank you for all your efforts concerning the networking party. I can immagine that it is not easy to get so many different people to agree to a date.

So I thought Idriss and I will make it aesy for you. We are fine with any day withing those two weeks. I hope that helps :-).

Unfortunately our home computer is suffering a hopefully temporary moodiness (won't switch back on) so I can only write from work and here my time is somewhat limited... I'll still try.

Idriss and I are fine. We both have been very busy lately but we took last weekend off and just enjoyed Vienna. It is really nice to goa dn discover places. There is just so many things that I have never seen and I'm here for almost 6 years.

Somwone built a beach village inside the iceskating ring next to the hotel Intercontinental. So you walk through a door unsuspectingly and all a sudden you find yourself in this vacation spot. Sand everywhere, sunbeds, a small pool for the kids and all surrounded by little huts that offer food from around the world. It's just amazing.

I'm glad your parents are up and well Dancan. How long are you staying in England?

I hope DC is not too hot and that you get to enjoy some nice summer days Susan!

I hope to read you all soon on the blog and send my best wishes to everyone!

Hello Barbara and Duncan and Everone else,
Good to read you all, that is what our blog is far.
Now, some random thouhgsl:
1. Duncan, that is good for Sheffied, no longer a manufacutring economy but now a service one, Bollywood films, there is life in the old city yet;
2. Your Mother is my role model, swimming at that age. you should have her come to my place in Florida, the Gulf is very warm and we have our own pool, no Jaws sharks there;
3. What books does your Father like? I have the Extended verison of the Third Man and will bring it in sept. Did not know there was a book written about it, did you or your father read it?
4. The Klimt ateleir/vill will be shuttered on July 1st and will not reopen unitl July 2008. so this means no Klimt birthparty on July 14th. Barbara and Idriss take note of this and I will send you a seaprate email on your tour before it closes.
Barbara, glad that you are disocvering things in Wien that you dont alwasy see. That is why Duncan's books are so great, the hidden places in Wien. Did you ever go tot he Manner outlet past the St. Anna's hopsital, where the candy is made and the Japenese garden? both great places.
I have been to the skarting rink by the Inercontential Hotel, it is usally a tennis court in summer, but this one sounds much more fun!
I can get you a Dell lap top at cost here at my firm (new one) and bring it in Sept if you want. I did this for Richard and it wouks great.
Very hot and humid here in DC -guess that is because Bush is back from Europe. Too bad he didnt stay over there in Albania, since they like him so much

Hi Susan,

Thank you so much for your kind offer. We are still hoping to get our computers back online. If we don't manage we might take you up on your offer.

Idriss and I are very much looking forward to the Klimt Villa visit tomorrow. Neither him or I have ever been there... Thank you for making this possible.

And yes we have made it to the Manner factory already. I just didn't realize it was it. Otehrwise I'm sure we would now sit on boxes and boxes of wafers. "Manner mag man eben :-)".

A former friend of mine was the daughter of one owner of Haribo (gum bears) and one day they manage to organize a field trip into this huge candy factory. No need to explain that this was heaven for a child. Candy pouring from huge machines, the scent of it all over the place and well just too good to be true. Thinking of that I think we have to visit the Manner factory :-).

I wish you all a great day and hope to read you soon!

All my best
Barbara.
