Hi Everyone:
Just wanted to let you know that I will be in Wien from Wed. Sept. 26 - October 4th. I will send you my hotel contact information under a separate post.
Also, some of you had expressed an interest in touring the new gallery TB-A 21 founded by Francesca von Habsburg. I have been in touch with her and just need to know the date and how many will be going. This will be during the day, however.
Also, I never heard from anyone, so I am bring Bride of the Wind and Night Porter for our movie night. Hope that it is still on.
Hope we can also see the Sand in the City exhibit, it looked very interested when it was on our blog.
Best to everyone.

Could the visit to the gallery take place during the weekend? It would make it more practical for Barbara and I to participate in the excursion...
I.
Bride of the Wind sounds interesting! Barbara and I are still not interested in The Night porter. How about The third man? I must be the only person in Vienna who has never seen it, and I sure would like it not to be the case in more!
I.
Hello Idriss and Barbara:
Yes, her Gallery is open on Saturdays, from 12 - 6 pm. However, I only have one Saturday in Wien, September 29th and I am backed up with appointments starting @ 9 am and going to 6 pm. I have a luncheon meeting @ Meinls @ 12 pm and it should be over @ 2 pm. I could meet you in front of her Gallery and take you there to see the exhibit, but then I would have to leave since I have an appointment at the MAK museum @ 2:30 pm.
Also, the curtators dont work on Saturday, and the curator was going to give you a special tour.
Please let me know what you decide.
Danke

Hello Idriss and Barbara:
Ok, I will bring the Bride of the Wind for you two, I bring the Night Porter for some other friends. Actualy, the Night Porer has some interesting scenes of Vienna circa 1978, esepcially the Naschmarkt and the Wagner house on the Link Wienzell.
Have you never been to see the Third Man at the Burg Kino on Friday nights? Duncan and I went one night and it was just wonderful! After it was over, we walked all over Wien to see the buildngs in the movie in all their eary darkness! it was very spooky!
The Third Man plays every Friday night at the Burg Kino and best of all it is the OV!
all for now

In that case, a visit of the gallery during the week sounds more interesting! When do you propose it to be, and would be possible to bring a guest?
I.
Idriss,
sure, you can bring as many guests as you like. I just need to let Frau Alexandra Henning know at least a day in advance. The Francesca's Gallery is not open on Sunday or Monday. I am spending all day on Thrusday, Sep. 27th at Laxenburg and on Monday, Ooctober 1st I go to Prague to meet my friend Prince Lobkowitz, for whom I consult with his 501(c)3.
Also, I have an appt @ 10 am on Friday at the Belvedere.
We could do it sometime Friday afternoon Tues or Wed of the next week.
Just let me know.
No problem bringing people, any people that you and barbara want to bring.
danke
