The Dodo Bird

Dear All
Barbara's lovely image of cells got me thinking about evolution. And whenever I think about evolution I think about the fate of the poor Dodo bird. The Natural History Museum in Vienna contains the best preserved skeleton of a Dodo so I thought you might find my photograph of it interesting.
Long live the Dodo!

Incidentally, this one is especially for Idriss, whose support for my random and eclectic postings has been noted!

Hey Duncan,

How interesting. I have only been to the Natural History Museum once. I undestand that in nice weather, one can go to the top to get a wonderful view of Wien.
Know I know what a "dodo" is. Once again, Duncan, as our Wien expert, you outdid yourself.
Now, what about those heads over the doors on the Heldenplatz?
Can you answer that one?
I bet I got you this time!!
Have a wonderful day
