Al Gore Global Warming Update for you, Duncan

Hello Everyone,

Just thought that you would all like to know that Al Gore for month here in the US for one of his homes, had an electric bill over $4,000 or about 5,000 Euros!

As I said before, I never saw him here on the DC Metro only is his big, gas (petrol) guzzling
Lincoln Town car. He may even have a Hummer!!

The article is on CNN and I will try to post it here, if not, I will send it to our BlogMaster, Richard, and ask him to post it. That is if he can tear himself away from skiing in Lech with Paris Hilton.

Hope you all have a great day in lovely Wien.

We must not be too cynical! Even Mr. Gore must learn lessons about global warming along the way. I wonder if he has considered energy saving lightbulbs? They last 4 or 5 times longer than conventional bulbs and use a quarter of the energy.

Hello Duncan and all you other Bloggers,

Good to read you - hope you are doing fine.
What you say is correct, but he doesnt have to be hypocretical (sp?) about it.
Maybe he has spent too much time down there in Dollywood in Tennessee (uses almost as much energy as Las Vegas).
Yes, Philips makes those light bulbs and I think they have some Hungarian connection. They are sold here in the US at Wal-Mart and are doing a brisk business.
I will send you all an invitation I received to a private opening at the Galerie Ulysses (I know the owner) they are the gallery for Anulf Rainer, who lives on the Mariailfstrasse. I just love his work.
Anyway, maybe you can all go to the Gallery opening on March 11th and then have brunch afterward.
Great way to network.
Sorry I wont be there.
Best to everyone today in lovey Wien.
