Thought I would make this red since it is so hot here in DC today.
Sorry to mention David Beckham again, but I cant get away from him. It seems his hotel was only one block from my apartment and then his last night here in DC, he had dinner at Sequoia, the posh DC restaurant in my office building here in Georgetown, DC. Remember, Richard?
Post didn't come with him this time, guess she stayed in LA counting her Hermes bags!
Anyway, he wont be back for a while, and then I hope I will be in Vienna!

It seems that noone but us is out there. :-( i'm making a short break from my book chapter to share with you the latest viennese gossip.
So mr. Lugner is now vacationing with his daughter apparently still (or already) looking for a replacement for his former wife. Fiona Swarowsky (she is the partner of our former finance minister Karl-Heinz Grasser and the heir of the famous swarowsky family - they have beautiful glass crystals) is pregnant.
Also the media now goes crazy about Natascha - remember the girl that was abducted 13 years ago and then escaped last year. Well apparently she hasn't donated any of the money to the fund that was created by the donations given from the people that felt for her. Her mother now published a book about her "years of loneliness" and media started questioning the entire affaire as a possible fraud. Somehow the interviews don't fit each other and some things just remain unexplained.
That's what's going on in our beautiful city that is enjoying the nice summer.

Good to read you. Mr. Lugner is looking for a new wife, maybe I should invite him to our netowrking party? I heard that he has spent all of his money - probably at the Hermes store on the Graben - and that is almost bankrupt? Anyway, sorry for his children. My friend who owns the Hermes store on the Graben knows the first wife of Karl Heinz Grasser, the former FM, and said that it was "messy divorce." Anyway, i have been to Wattens in the Tyrol to see the Swarvorski mines and it is a beautiful place.
They now live in Kitzbuehl and are supposed to he the young beautiful couple in Austria, replacing karl and Francesca. I love Viennese gossip, so much more exciting than the boring stuff here in DC.
Surprised about the Natascha thing, I thought it was legit and that someone was making a movie.
I guess all these things finally come down to making a few Euros or dollars, what a shame.
